About me

I’m Zubaidah Farhan. I am currently in my final semester at Agnes Scott College, studying International Relations (IR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). On the one hand, I enjoy disciplines that are concerned with how the social and political spheres operate. This includes my extensive research over the years on political theories and events, history, literature, and philosophy. On the other hand, my love for technology stretches beyond and before college. A year after my family was donated a computer, I made a video logo intro using Adobe Premiere at 12 years old. Ever since, I taught myself anything technology from Adobe and Microsoft softwares to programming languages like Java and Python. At my very core, I am an initiator.

Observing a problem, encourages me to take initiative and create a solution. If I am not working on solving a community or company issue, I am actively seeking or employing new ideas. I am a strategic thinker, who enjoys decomposing problems into their nuts and bolts. I am passionate about communicating and presenting complex ideas to general audiences, and I am interested in finding the greatest value in constructive feedback from my team members.

In every field I break into, idea I pursue, or task I implement, impact is my single motive. Whether it is founding an organization that advances young women in technology or solving a problem that would improve a company’s process, I am constantly seeking to establish personal credibility through respect and trust, dynamic relationships with others, the ability to manage adversity, awareness of self, and certainly, to always proceed with purpose.

I have also tutored in website development and design with my college’s Center for Digital and Visual Literacy. In my free time, I chase bags both literally and metaphorically— day dreaming about owning every Dolce and Gabbana piece ever, while also scouring Youtube for business strategies and technological innovation.

If you made it this far, hi, hire me 🙂

Success comes with a price that’s normally bigger than what most people want to pay.
